The Smart Czech Names by Dáváme app brings Czech name declension directly into your Pipedrive, allowing you to generate personalized salutations according to Czech grammar.

📝 Choose between three salutation types:
- Full name → pane Petře Novotný
- Last name → pane Novotný
- First name → pane Petře

🧩 Smart logic – if a name doesn’t match the selected type (e.g., missing last name), no changes are made
⚙️ Installation & Setup
Important Note:
Only workspace Admin can install the application. Admin user is the only one who can customize the settings or uninstall the app in the future.
App settings:
After installation, you’ll be redirected to the settings page where you can:
- Select the custom field used for storing the salutation (must be Text or Long text)
- Choose your preferred salutation type (Full name, Last name, or First name)
Automatic behavior:
Whenever a person record contains a valid name, the app automatically fills in the salutation field according to your settings.
Existing contacts - bulk edit of the past data
If you’d like to generate salutations for existing records in bulk, contact us — we’ll be happy to help.
✅ Working with application
- If a person in Pipedrive doesn’t have the correct part of their name filled in according to the selected declension type, the app won't be able to generate required salutation. (For example, if the declension is set to “by last name” but the person is created with only a first name, the feature will not work.)
- The application operates on the organization level, so it can only be installed once. If another user tries to install it, they will automatically become the Main Admin of the app and be redirected to the settings page. Previous Admin will loose the admin rights.
- Since the application operates across the entire organization, any change to the salutation settings will apply to all users and all contacts equally.
- App interface is written in Czech only 🇨🇿 (designed for Czech users)
🔧 Uninstallation
Only the Admin who originally installed the app can uninstall it — simply click the Uninstall button in the app settings.
